Customer Comments and Our Story

This beautiful goddess shimmers in pure silk color, she is one of the Dunhuang Goddesses. Dunhuang Goddesses were inspired by paintings in a grotto in the Dunhuang Caves. Dunhuang, China is an ancient city, and due to its location as the crossroads between the southern silk road and the passage to India, it has a significant history. The Dunhuang art movement is centered around the nearly 500 caves that were developed into a monastery housing a cultural center in the 4th century AD. Recently discovered, this cultural center was active for over a thousand years and became an amazing depository of documents, and various works of art, including grottos with murals and frescos.
